check if the unit is secure. Don't engage lower hooks at this moment.

ATTENTION
If the piping is guided to the rear right, the piping has to be mounted together with the indoor
unit, through the drilled hole.

Guide the piping, the power cable and the condensed water hose through the hole in the wall.

TIP
The piping, the power cable, and the condensed water hose can be connected easily by pulling
the bottom of the indoor unit approximately 5 cm away from the wall and to fill this space
temporary with filling material to prevent the unit touching the wall again, see figure 3.
f.
Connect the refrigerant piping, the power cables and de condensed water hose to the indoor unit.
See Chapter 8.2, 9, 10 and 11.2.
g.
Place the outdoor unit, see chapter 5.2.
h.
Connect the piping and the power cable to the outdoor unit. See Chapter 11.2.
i.
Vacuum the cooling circuit. See Chapter 12.
j.
Check the cooling circuits for leaks. See Chapter 13.
k.
Check if the entire installation has been done correct.
l.
Insert the plug in the socket and check the operation of the air conditioner. See Chapter 15.

POSITIONING OF THE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR UNIT

5.1 Positioning of the indoor unit for the TS 8xx and TSCS 8xx -10xx
models.
Don't expose the indoor unit to direct heat or steam.
Choose a place without obstacles in front or around the unit.
Make sure the condensed water can be drained to a lower point at all times.
Don't position the unit near a door.
Make sure that there is at least 12 cm free space to the left and the right of the unit. See Picture 4
Use a locator to trace piping or electrical cables to avoid unnecessary damaging the wall.
The indoor unit has to be installed against the wall on a height of at least 2.3 meter above the floor.

The indoor unit has to be installed with a minimum distance of 15 cm between the unit and
the ceiling. See Picture 4
The indoor unit must be mounted level.
Consider de possible positions of the outdoor unit when positioning the indoor unit. The piping and
cables of indoor and outdoor unit have to be connected.

ATTENTION
For TSCS 8xx-10xx models: The length of the pipe is 4 meter.
For TS 8xx models: The maximum length of the piping between the indoor and outdoor unit is 15
meters.
The maximum height difference between the indoor and outdoor unit is 5
meters.

5.2 Positioning of the outdoor unit for the TS 8xx and TSCS 8xx -10xx

models
Position the outdoor unit on a firm foundation to minimalize unwanted noise and vibration.

NOTE
The outdoor unit makes noise when the unit is in service; this can be in conflict with
local legislation and regulations. The user is responsible to check this and to make sure the
equipment fully complies with the local legislation.
Choose the direction of the air outlet so the exhaust air is not obstructed.
Consider the weight of the indoor and outdoor unit.
If a shelter will be build to avoid that the outdoor unit is exposed to direct sunlight or rain, it has to
be made sure that the condenser isn't obstructed.
Make sure there is at least 30 cm free space around the back and on the left. The free space at the
front of the unit has to be at least 200 cm and a free space of 60 cm has to be maintained at the
connection side (right side). (See Picture 5.)
The outdoor unit has to be positioned level.
