To keep the appliance in good condition, clean the air outlet grille with a vacuum cleaner.
Clean the surfaces when cold with a soft cloth and ordinary cleaning products.

Cause
This can occur during commissioning, caused by

Temperature limiter has responded. Grilles on
appliance are covered or blocked.

Remedy
Thoroughly vent the room. The smell
will dissipate within a few minutes.
Remove the cover or dirt. The
appliance will then automatically
continue to operate.
