3. Appliance description

3.1

Properties

The integral room thermostat keeps the room temperature constant through natural convection and the even radiation of
heat. You can set the comfort temperature as you require. You then only need to operate the ON/OFF switch to start and stop,
or to reduce the room temperature.

You can choose between the following three functions:
OFF: Appliance switched off
COMFORT: Appliance maintains the room at the comfort temperature
SETBACK: Appliance maintains the room at the economy temperature (this arises from the comfort temperature - 3.5 °C)
4.2.1 Adjusting the comfort temperature
Set the ON/OFF switch to "COMFORT".

Set the required room temperature with the temperature selector. You can choose between stages 1 to 9 (+5 °C to approx.

+30 °C).
As soon as the selected room temperature is reached, it is constantly maintained at this selected temperature through cyclic
heating (here, the output of the appliance must correspond to at least the required heat demand of the room).

If several appliances are installed in one room, a different temperature can be selected at each one.
To avoid excessive power consumption when windows are open, you should stop the appliance while venting.

4.2.2 Frost protection

The appliance can also be used as a frost stat. The heating system starts automatically if the room temperature drops below 7 °C.
Set the ON/OFF switch to "COMFORT".

Turn the temperature selector to the frost protection symbol (the lowest stage).
