Assembly
Fasten dovetail jig with lateral angle brackets 17 on a stable base. When
the dovetail jig is installed on a long board it can also be fastened to the
workbench with screw clamps.

Push springs 18 and washers 19 on the outer clamping screws. Place
the groove nuts 15 over the bore holes in the grooves 14. Screw in the
clamping screws. The middle clamping screws are used only for narrow
workpieces (< 300 mm).

Fasten the two angles 21 on the left and on the right with two screws 20
each. The right angle 21 must be fastened offset by 90° to the left angle.
Fasten depth gauge 7 with screws 22, washers 23 and nuts 24 on tem-
plate 3.
When non-Bosch routers are used, fasten adapter 26 to the bot-
tom of template FS 10.
Install depth gauge 7 with distance bushes 25.
Align Template (see Fig.

Loosen both clamping levers 5 and 11, insert template 3 in template
holders 6. Set adjustment knob 4 to position "0". Lock template with the
clamping levers 5 and 11.
Loosen screws 20 (see Fig. A). Align template 3 so that the markings 8
are exactly above the front edge of the equipment.
Tighten screws 20 again.

Install and align dovetail template FS 10 with angle 21
(see "Aligning Template").

Setting the Cutting Depth on the Router (see Fig.
Place router above depth gauge 7. Lower the router until cutting tool
touches the gauge. Adjust and lock router.
The material thickness must be greater than the cutting depth,
otherwise the dovetail jig will be damaged.

Setting the Stop Screws 9 (see Fig.
Loosen all four stop screws 9 and push to the right or left edge. Loosen
both clamping levers 5 and 11. Place workpiece between template 3
and base plate 16.
Push down template 3 and lock with clamping levers 5 and 11.
To set the stop screws 9 on the left, place setting gauge 10 flat on the
base plate 16. Push the left leg of the setting gauge 10 to the right and
against a finger of the template 3 and hold it.
Push front left stop screw 9 from the left towards the setting gauge 10
and tighten it.
Remove template 3 and workpiece.
Press setting gauge 10 against the front left stop screw 9 as before.
Push upper left stop screw 9 against the setting gauge 10 and tighten
stop screw. Both stop screws 9 must rest on the setting gauge 10 with-
out play.
