General

This supplement to the operating manual MULTRONIC (Mat.-No. 417101163)
describes the start up and adjustment of the MULTRONIC cooling water treatment
version.
General information on start up and adjustments can be found in the original operating
manual.
The German sections of this manual constitute the ORIGINAL OPERATING MANUAL
NOTE
and take legal precedence.
All other languages are translations of the ORIGINAL OPERATING MANUAL.
The safety instructions and notes in the original operating manual must always
be observed!
The device has been equipped with application specific software that is able to perform
real-time controlled metering of biocides in order to create an optimum display and
operating structure for the area of cooling water treatment application.
Special measuring modules for conductivity measurements specific to cooling water
treatment with biocide metering are employed.
To this end, conductivity measuring modules for inductive (Mat.-No. 255165) and
conductive (Mat.-No. 255179) measuring principles are provided. Furthermore, the
timer module (Mat.-No. 255164) is employed for the biocide metering control.
This operating manual is accompanied by the supplements on the individual modules
which describe the parameters and setting values.
