The affecting time disables the desalination processes of the controlled desalination
module for the specified period of time.
Value range: 0 min to 600 min
The threshold value function specifies the desalination threshold percentage of the (W+)-
(W-)-interval of the controller desalination module. If this threshold is exceed at the
beginning of a biocide metering procedure, an early desalination procedure is started.
Value range: 0.0% to 99.9%, the setting 0.0% means that no advanced desalting is started.
The control relay that is intended to control the biocide metering can be selected under
metering relay.
Value range: 1 / 2 / 1+2
If the setting is equal 1, the first relay that is allocated to the timer module is used for the
biocide metering.
If the setting is equal 2, the second relay that is allocated to the timer module is used for the
biocide metering.
If the setting is equal 1+2, both of the relays that are allocated to the timer module are used
for the biocide metering.
Example: Timer module at module plug-in connection 2 and adjusted for metering relays
1+2. This results in a biocide metering over relay 4 (relay 1 for module 2) as well as over
relay 5 (relay 2 for module2).
The time set under time instant for the respective weekdays is enabled with the valid
function. The weekdays that are valid for the time instant are marked with a x (cross). In
order to switch a time instance off, none of the days must be marked with a x (cross).
The module selection function returns the screen to the controller parameter module
selection.
The page 2 function opens the settings for the second possible biocide metering time for
processing.
Go to page 2 to edit additional settings for the current biocide metering time.

The first row displays information on the current time for the setting.
In the precirculation area, you can set the time in minutes to elapse before a scheduled
biocide metering process if the cooling tower is to be off at the time of biocide metering.
For more information on this, see the appendix on coolant handling.
Value range: 0 min to 99 min. Off turns off the possibility of pre-metering.
