For correct use of the machine and to avoid
accidents, do not start working until you have
read this manual carefully. You will find
explanations concerning the operation of the
various parts plus instructions for necessary
checks and relative maintenance.

contained in this manual are not binding. The

In addition to the operating instructions, this

WARNING! - In order to use the "BC 300
D-PU - DS 3000 D-PU" engine unit described in
this manual it must be coupled exclusively to
one of the following accessories: Brushcutter
"D -BC ", Pruner "D -PP ", Blower "D -BV,
Hedgetrimmer "D-HC" and extension. In any
case, read this manual and the manuals
supplied with each accessory carefully before
using the complete machines.
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
- The safety instructions given in this
manual refer exclusively to operation of
the power unit. The instructions do not
take account of the danger deriving from
use of the machine of which the power unit
is a component part.
- The ignition system of your machine
produces an electromagnetic field of very

low intensity. This field could interfere
with certain pacemakers. To reduce the
risk of serious or fatal injury, persons with
pacemakers should consult their doctor or
