5. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The power supply voltage must correspond to the values on the
rating plate on the appliance (the voltage rating is given in volts [V]
and fulfill the requirements listed in chapter „Technical data".
The appliance should only be connected to a single phase grounded
alternating current. Make sure that the original mains cable and
the wall outlet correspond.
For safety reasons the outlet must have a faulty-energy-protection switch (FI).
If possible, avoid using an extension cord. If it is unavoidable, use only proper, approved
extension cords.
Do not suspend the mains cable to strong tension or pressure.
To replace the cable, see chapter „Repairs".

6. PUTTING INTO OPERATION

Before using the appliance for the first time it must be thoroughly cleaned. Follow the
instructions in Chapter „Cleaning".
Place the juice extractor Sanamat on a firm, flat base. Make sure by organisational or
technical means, that no fluids can gather underneath the machine (hygiene, electrical
security). Plug it into a nearby, appropriate electrical outlet.
The pulp can be directly disposed into a container.
