Sensor
1.
Open the battery compartment and insert three AAA batteries
according to the correct polarity.
2.
Close the battery compartment.
Receiver
1.
Open the battery compartment and insert three C batteries
according to the correct polarity.
2.
Close the battery compartment.
Note
The receiver can also be powered using a 5 VDC, 200 mA power
supply.
6.
Installation
1.
Choose the installation spot considering the following:
o Make sure that there is no hidden wiring which could be
sectioned when drilling holes.
o The PIR sensor detects heat. Avoid aiming the sensor towards
the sun, spotlights and heat-producing devices such as
radiators and heaters.
o Mount the sensor at a minimum height of 1 m above the
ground. If installed under garage eaves, make sure that the
sensor is not blacked by gutters and the like.
o If installed at a height of 2 m or more, the sensor should be
aimed downward and pointed toward the area to be monitored.
o Make sure the installation spot is flat, dust-free, protected from
rain and other weather elements, and not prone to vibrations.

Use the installation holes on the devices to determine the
distance of the mounting holes. Drill the holes and install the
sensor and receiver using the included mounting accessories.
Remember to install the receiver within 120 m of the sensor.
7.
Operation
1.
Switch on the receiver. Allow about 30 seconds for warm-up.
The receiver will emit two short beeps, indicating the unit is
working.
2.
Test the sensor by walking into the covered area. Relocate or re-
install the sensor or receiver if no alarm is heard.
3.
Finally, select the desired volume and melody.
