8.2

Uninstalling the device

DANGER
Dangerous voltage due to two operating voltages
Severe injuries or death may occur if the cables and/or terminals/busbars in the device are touched. The
discharge time of the capacitors is up to 5 minutes.
Only appropriately qualified electricians authorized by the mains supply network operator are permit-
ted to open and maintain the device.
Before opening the device: Disconnect the AC and DC side and wait at least 5 minutes.
↻ Device shut down and no voltage is present.
↻ AC cable disconnected AC connection [See section 7.7.1} Page 26].
↻ DC connection disconnected DC connection [See section 7.7.2} Page 26].
1 Undo the cable fittings for Ethernet cables [ W_29].
2 Undo the cable fittings for RS485 cables [ W_19].
3 Disconnect the plug from the communication circuit board.
4 Pull the interface cables out of the device.
5 Insert sealing plugs into all open cable fittings.
» The device has been uninstalled. Proceed with removal.

Removing the device

↻ Device has been switched off and uninstalled.
1 Remove the screw that prevents the device from being lifted off the mount.
2 Use the lateral openings and lift the device off the mount.
» The device has been removed. Proceed with packaging.
8.4

Packaging the device

↻ The device has been uninstalled.
1 If possible, always pack the device in the original packaging. If this is no longer available, an alternative is to use equi-
valent packaging.
2 You must be able to close the box completely and it must be able to accommodate the weight and size of the device.
8.5

Storing the device

CAUTION
Damage to property due to condensation build-up
If the device is stored incorrectly, condensation may build up within the device and impair the functionality
of the device (e.g. due to storage that does not conform to the specified environmental conditions or if the
device is transported from a cold environment to a warm environment for a brief period of time.
ü Storage in accordance with the technical data > Environmental data
Check the interior space for any condensation water prior to electrical installation and, if necessary, al-
low it to dry out sufficiently.
↻ The device is packaged.
F Store the device in a dry place, in accordance with the ambient temperature range Environmental data.
