SETTING THE SHUTTER SPEED
The letter 8 and the numbers 2 700 on the
Shutter Speed Selector Dral represent ''bulb" and
1/ 2 .. 1/7 00 second. They indrcate the length of
ume th e f•lm w•ll be exposed ta hght. The shutter
speed scale •s aise vrs•ble m the vrewfinder (left side
edge)
Th• s ca mera allows yeu ta set exposure e1ther by the
shutter speed or by the s•ze of the lens opening .
Howeve r. n ts be st ta set the shutter speed frrst. For
example. the shutter speed would be from 1/125 to
1! 250 sec tf yeu are shootmg outdoors. or from
1/ 30 sec. to 1/ 60 se c .. rf you are shootrng indoors .
To set the shutter speed. f11 st turn the Shutter Speed
Selector Or al whrlc pressmg dawn on it slightly and
set the num ber you want oppostte the red dot on the
cam er a body.
