The filling screw is located on the top left side of the oil tank.

When performing an oil change, you will need a suitable container for
the used oil:
• The container must be oil-resistant.
• The capacity must be at least 7 litres.
With a smaller vessel, you can drain the oil in multiple stages.

To drain off the oil:
›
Open the filling screw on the oil tank roughly 3­4 turns.
›
Place a container beneath the oil discharge point and remove the
discharge screw.
To add oil:
›
Fill the oil tank again afterwards. We recommend the following
hydraulic oils:
• DEA HD B 46
• Shell Tellus 10-46
• Esso Nuto H 46
Please do not use biological hydraulic oil!
After filling the oil tank:
›
Actuate the wood splitter 3-4 times to allow air to escape from the
hydraulic circuit.
›
Then close the oil tank again with the filling screw.
