Setting wood clamping

In order to clamp the wood firmly during splitting, wood clamps are
fitted on the two actuation arms. These can be adjusted to the size of
the logs. With small wood diameters, they must be moved inwards.
To adjust the wood clamps, loosen the wing screws on the actuation
arms.
Set the wood clamps on both sides to the same dimension.
After sliding the wood clamps, tighten the wing screws again.

Freeing jammed wood pieces

It can arise that the wood cannot be fully split, and that the riving knife
drags the wood with it when driving upwards.
Allow the splitting column to travel back to its initial position and
switch the wood splitter off.
Knock the wood down and off. You can use a hammer for this.
