Mode of operation

The wood splitter functions by means of mechanical two-hand
operation. This prevents the operator from reaching into the splitting
area under any circumstances when working with the wood splitter.
In order to start the splitting process, you must press both actuation
arms down. The splitting column drives downwards. To reduce the risk
of crushing, the end stop is set such that the riving knife does not reach
the splitting table.
If you release one of the actuation arms, the splitting process is
stopped. The splitting column remains in position and does not return
to its initial position.
If you release both actuation arms, the splitting column returns to its
original position (upwards).
If you only release one actuation arm, the splitting column does not
drive down.

Wearing parts

Wearing parts such as sliding jaws and splitting column guides are
excluded from warranty claims.

Symbols on the wood splitter

Description
Only perform servicing, set-up, maintenance and cleaning
work with the drive switched off and the tool at a standstill!
This sticker warns of a risk of crushing if servicing, set­up,
maintenance and cleaning work are performed with the drive
running.

information before commissioning!
