cAUTIoN: Disposal
Follow local regulations regarding the disposal of materials.
The appliance should be disposed of according to Regulation
2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment). In case of queries, contact the municipal authorities re-
sponsible for waste disposal in your area.
The used, completely drained standard and rechargeable batteries
must be disposed of in specially marked collection containers, at to-
xic waste collection points or electrical product retailers.
You are legally obligated to dispose of the batteries.
Note: Batteries containing pollutants are marked with
the following symbols: Pb = Battery contains lead,
Cd = Battery contains cadmium, Hg = Battery contains
mercury.
3. operation
• If present, pull the battery insulating strip off the battery compart-
ment cover or remove the battery's protective film and insert the
battery according to the polarity.
• The batteries are located in the mirror. Turn the front cover anti-
clockwise and remove it. Now you can remove the plastic insulating
strip or change the batteries.
• Check the device for damage.
• The light can be switched on or off using the button located on the
rear.
