4. Tips for Treasure Hunters
- Always install the max. sensitivity position when using the device.
- Sweep the metal detector from side to side while maintaining a constant distance between
the search coil and the ground. Do not swing the detector like a pendulum.
- Take your time. You may miss a target if you walk too fast.
5. Universal Code of Conduct for the Treasure Hunter
a) Never search a site without permission of the owner.
b) Observe all relevant national, regional and local laws.
c) Do not destroy objects of historical or archaeological value. Contact a museum or a historical
society in case you find an object you cannot define.
d) Leave the vegetation of the site intact and fill in any holes you may have dug during your search.
6. Maintenance
a) The search head is waterproof and can be submerged in either fresh or salt water. The
handle, however, is not waterproof. Rinse the search head with fresh water to prevent
corrosion of the metal parts after using the device in salt water.
b) Replace the battery when the buzzer weakens.
c) Replace old batteries to prevent leakage.
d) Handle the CS50 gently and with care. Dropping it may damage the circuit board or the
housing and may cause the device to malfunction.
Important Remark : Respect all applicable laws when you wish to dispose of your old battery !
CS50 – METAALDETECTOR "TREASURE HUNTER"
Proficiat met de aankoop van uw nieuwe CS50. Dankzij deze metaaldetector kunt u naar
hartelust op jacht gaan naar verborgen schatten !
1. Instellen van de metaaldetector
De gebruiker moet enkel de lengte van de steel en de positie van de zoekkop aanpassen.
Regel de lengte van de steel
a) Draai in wijzerzin om de schroefmoer los te maken.
b) Regel de lengte van de steel zodat u de zoekkop makkelijk op 1 à 5cm van de grond kunt
houden terwijl u stapt.
c) Draai in tegenwijzerzin om de schroefmoer terug vast te maken.
Regel de stand van de zoekkop
a) Draai de knoppen los en draai de zoekkop tot hij evenwijdig is met de grond.
b) Draai de knoppen weer vast zodat de zoekkop niet trilt of draait tijdens gebruik.
