Attention!
Damage from incorrect installation
Incorrect installation of the pressure regulator valve can cause damage
and premature failure of the valve.
→ Coat the parts with SATA high performance grease (Art. No. 48173).
→ Only use the special tool supplied by SATA.
→ Tighten all screws by hand and check that they are screwed tight.
Dismantle pressure regulator valve
■ Unscrew the fastening screw [8-1] from the adjusting nut [8-2].
■ Take the adjusting nut up and out.
■ Unscrew the fastening nut [8-3] from the pressure gauge [8-11] and
carefully take up and out.
■ Take the spindle [8-4] up and out with the pressure spring and membrane
[8-5].
■ Remove O-ring [8-6].
■ Unclip the circlip [8-7] from the pressure control valve rod [8-12].
■ Remove washer [8-8], pressure spring [8-9] and washer [8-10].
■ Unscrew the plastic nut [8-13] from the pressure gauge.
■ Take the pressure control valve rod down and out.
■ Clean all parts.
Install pressure regulator valve
■ Lightly coat all parts with high performance grease.
■ Guide the pressure control valve rod [8-12] through the pressure gauge
[8-11].
■ Position the washer [8-10] on the pressure valve rod from above.
■ Position the pressure spring [8-9] and washer [8-9] on the pressure
valve rod from above.
■ Clip the circlip [8-7] into the pressure valve rod.
■ Insert the O-ring [8-6] into the membrane [8-5] from below.
■ Position the adjusting nut [8-2] on the fastening nut [8-3].
■ Guide the fastening screw [8-1] through the adjusting nut and fastening
nut and screw into the spindle [8-4] with the pressure spring.
■ Screw pre-mounted fastening nut onto the pressure gauge and tighten
by hand.
■ Screw plastic nut [8-13] onto the pressure gauge and tighten by hand.
