■ Lock quick coupling tank inlet [4-7] and quick coupling tank outlet
[4-10].
■ Lock quick connections of the heating sleeve [4-13].
■ Close ball valve [4-17] for the tank bleeder.
12.2. Fill tank with optional demineralised water supply
Notice!
When the bypass is activated, the main switch must not be set to "0"
(see chapter 12.4).
■ Set main switch [4-24] to "0".
■ Close main air valve [4-22].
■ Open ball valve [4-17] for the tank bleeder.
■ Remove the safety cap from the connection for the demineralised water
supply [4-6] and connect the demineralised water pipe.
■ Connect up the demineralised water supply.
■ Open ball valve [4-5] for filling the tank.
■ Fill with demineralised water until the water level in the indicator hose
[4-16] corresponds with the level display [4-12] (max. 10 l).
■ On reaching the max. level, close the ball valve for filling the tank.
■ Disconnect the demineralised water supply.
■ Remove the demineralised water pipe from the water intake of the
SATA AB1.
■ Close ball valve for the tank bleeder.
■ Put the safety cap onto the connection for the demineralised water
supply.
12.3. Adjust water temperature and breathing air humidity
Notice!
A relative humidity of approx. 22 - 25 % rel. hum. has proven ideal. This
value permits pleasant breathing without condensation in the breathing
air pipe. The breathing air humidity can be adjusted with a thermostat.
■ Close stub pipes [1-2] to the individual breathing protection hoods.
■ Set main switch [4-24] to "1". The green signal lamp "Mains ON" [6-2]
lights up together with the yellow signal button "Start / Overtemp. ack."
[6-1].
■ Adjust the thermostat [4-25] to the required water temperature and
press the yellow signal button "Start / Overtemp. ack". to confirm.
