CASSETTE RECORDER
DUBBING - COPYING FROM DECK 2 TO 1
For best results, use the AC power supply or fresh batteries.
1. Set the source selector 6 to TAPE/OFF. Do not move this switch
during recording.
2. Press both STOP•OPEN 9 / 8/9 keys to open the cassette holders.
3. Insert the recorded tape into deck 2 and a blank tape for recording
into deck 1.
4. Press PAUSE ; 8 and then RECORD 0 8 on deck 1.
5. To start dubbing, press PLAY 2 9 on deck 2.
– PAUSE ; 8 will be released.
– By pressing PAUSE ; 8 on deck 1, you can omit undesired
passages while deck 2 continues.
Press PAUSE ; 8 on deck 1 again to resume dubbing.
– Pressing PAUSE ; 9 on deck 2 will create pauses.
6. To stop recording, press both STOP•OPEN 9 / 8/9 keys.
RECORDING FROM THE RADIO
1. Set the source selector 6 to TUNER.
2. Tune to the desired radio station using the TUNING % button.
3. Press STOP•OPEN 9 / 8 on deck 1 to open the cassette holder.
4. Insert a blank cassette.
5. Press RECORD 0 8 to start recording.
6. For brief interruptions, press PAUSE ; 8. To resume recording, press
PAUSE ; 8 again.
7. To stop, press STOP•OPEN 9 / 8.
CD SYNCRO - RECORDING FROM THE CD PLAYER
1. Set the source selector 6 to CD.
2. Insert a CD and, if desired, program track numbers.
3. Press STOP•OPEN 9 / 8 on deck 1 to open the cassette holder.
4. Insert a blank cassette.
5. Press RECORD 0 8 to start recording.
– Playing of the CD program starts automatically from the beginning of
the program. It is not necessary to start the CD player separately.
6. For brief interruptions, press PAUSE ; 8. To resume recording, press
PAUSE ; 8 again.
7. To stop recording, press STOP•OPEN 9 / 8.
To select and record a particular passage within a track
1. Press SEARCH ∞ or § 0 to select a passage.
2. Put the CD player in PAUSE ; 0 position at the selected passage.
– Recording will start from this exact point when you press
RECORD 0 8.
