The USB interface or the temperature monitoring can be switched on/off in this menu.
For this function, it is necessary to have an optional USB adapter or an optional tem-
perature sensor, which are optionally connected to the charger ( see chapter 8, posi-
tions 12 and 15).
The USB adapter and the temperature sensor are not contained in the scope of deliv-
ery of the charger and must be ordered separately.
The interface and temperature function is only possible with channel 1 and 2.
These settings are invalid with channels 3 and 4.
The use of interfaces and temperature monitoring is only possible for the same
channel in turns as these functions both use the side connection (12 or 15).
Confirm the selection by pressing the "START/ENTER" button. The "USB" parameter blinks in the dis-
play. The USB interface is selected ("enable").
You can switch between the USB interface (USB) and the temperature monitoring function with the but-
tons "INC" or "DEC". When the temperature monitoring function is selected, the following is shown:
Confirm the setting by pressing the "START/ENTER" button.
The temperature value blinks on the display. With the buttons "INC" or "DEC", you can set the tempera-
ture at which a subsequent charge or discharge process is later terminated. The setting can range from
20 to 80°C.
Save the setting by briefly pressing the "START/ENTER" button.
• With the "INC" button, you access the next setting (or with the button "DEC" the previous setting or return
to the main menu with the button "BATT. TYPE/STOP".)
The battery becomes quite hot using the cycle program (automatic discharge/charge cycles in
sequence). In order to give the battery enough time to cool off sufficiently, a break time can be set here.
Briefly press the button "START/ENTER". The time display then begins to flash. With the buttons "INC"
or "DEC", you can select the time (0 to 60 min). Save the setting with the button "START/ENTER"; the
time display then stops blinking.
