For safety concerning personnel and product, please read the contents of these
operating instructions carefully before connecting.
If the controller is mounted in an ITALFARAD power factor correction panel,
during the first installation, the only parameter to be preset is the value of the CT
primary. Hence when powering up the controller for the first time, follow the
instructions given in Chapter 1.10 "RAPID C.T. SETUP".
If the power factor correction panel has already been switched on or else if it is
necessary to modify the C.T. value, proceed to adjust parameter P.01 of the
basic set-up.
Unauthorized tampering of the other parameters could cause faulty operation of
the power factor correction panel or damage to it; in such case the warranty
clauses and the manufacturer's liability would cease automatically.
The default values given in the tables on pages 33 and 38 refer to controllers
purchased individually and not mounted in an ITALFARAD power factor
correction panel. Otherwise such values are those regarding the specific
controller and they depend on the type of capacitors used.
