Delivery

6.1.

Checking the delivery

The ROHDE pottery wheel will usually be delivered by a freight-forwarding agent. Immediately after delivery, check that
there is no visible damage on the packaging. Should you detect any damage, unpack the pallet together with the driver
and check the goods for damage. Enter details of any damage detected on the delivery note and have the driver
countersign your remarks. Keep one copy of the complaint for your files. Inform the shipping agency immediately of the
damage. Complaints submitted at a later date cannot be considered.
6.2.

Unpacking the machine

Be sure to remove all packaging materials from the entire pottery wheel.
6.3.

Disposal of packaging

Take the wooden cardboard and film packaging to an appropriate disposal point and help actively promote
environmental protection. For further information concerning the disposal of packaging material please contact your
local specialist, community council or municipal administration.
7. Installation & assembly
7.1.

Notes on the operating location

Place the pottery wheel on a flat surface.

Any unevenness in the floor can be compensated for using height-adjustable plastic feet.

Plug the supplied power cord directly into the nearest possible socket. The power cable is long enough and

must not be extended with an extension cable.
The foot pedal can be positioned where you wish. The cable is long enough so that the pedal can be placed

anywhere on the floor or raised so that it can be easily operated with your foot or hand.
Make sure you have sufficient freedom of movement.

Make sure there is enough space to be able to place a collecting vessel below the drain hose of the splash

pan.
7.2.

Transporting the machine

WARNING
Risk of breakage and injury! Do not lift or carry the machine by the splash pan.
NOTE
The pottery wheel should be moved by at least 2 people due to its heaviness.
 Only lift and carry the pottery wheel by its housing.
