Time-graphic display
In this display only the main value is shown (the
weapon's
tip
contact
resistance).
Under the numeric value of the resistance, a sliding
graphic displays, which shows the resistance
progress in real time. The graphic shows a dotted
line indicating the threshold. The graphic's highest
limit is four times the threshold.

In the diagram above, the epee tip was correctly
lower than the threshold, but after the tip's
command, it was returned to rest with a value
superior to the threshold: there are problems with
the tip.

Hit-graphic display
In this display only the main value is shown
(normally, the weapon's tip contact).
Under the numeric value of resistance, upon each
hit a graphic corresponding to the resistance
progress is displayed. This graphic is updated upon
every hit (e.g. for the epee, upon every closing of
the tip contact).
In the graphic display we can see the dotted line
indicating the threshold. The graphic's highest limit
is 4 times the threshold. At the bottom of the
graphic, each notch corresponds to a pause of
5ms.

In the diagram above, the hit of an epee showed
irregular progress with various fluctuations; the tip
resistance often surpassed the threshold value of
