Troubleshooting guide

• The Start Symbol (1a) do not light up
Switch on the device at the power switch (13).
Check if the power plug is correctly wired and make sure that it is
connected to a live wall socket (fit to the device).
Check the fuse; if the fuse is faulty, it can be replaced. To do this,
pull out the fuse holder (11). Replace the blown fuse with a new one
and push the fuse holder back into its socket.
The device is fitted with a (230V: 3,15 AmT; 100V / 120V: 6,30 AmT)
protection fuse. The factory provides a spare fuse in the reserve clip
in the fuse holder (11).
To replace a fuse, unplug the power cable (16) from the power
socket (12).
Depending on the residual heat, after switching off, the fan (8) runs until the

excess heat has been dissipated.
• Inoculating loops are not sterilized
Annealing tube is dirty. Please clean and dry it, or if necessary
replace it (see section 6.1).
• The unit gets hot, the red light turns off during sterilization
The thermal circuit breaker is switching off the unit (see section 8.1).
Check the functioning of the fan (see section 7).
