8. Error display
This section describes the error display and gives you some advices for solving them.
8.1 Over-temperature protection
If the device overheats during the sterilization process, the light will switch off automati-
cally and the stop symbol (1b) will flash once. The fan continues to run for some time until
the device has cooled down (approx. 10 minutes). After that, switch off the device at the
power switch (13). Subsequently the device can be switched on again via the
power switch (13).
8.2 IR-halogen lamp fault
To determine if the IR-halogen lamp is defective, allow the unit to cool down
(approx. 10 minutes) then restart the sterilization process. If the IR-halogen spotlight
does not light up within the sterilization time of 10 seconds, it is defective and must be
replaced. Switch off the device using the power switch (13) on the rear panel.
Before opening the device, remove the power plug (15) from the power outlet.
Depending on the residual heat, after switching off, the fan (8) runs until the
i
excess heat has been dissipated.
Now the IR-halogen lamp can be changed. The removal and installation instructions
are included with the replacement IR-halogen lamp:
IR-halogen lamp, 230V AC:
IR-halogen lamp, 120V AC:
IR-halogen lamp, 100V AC:
8.3 Temperature sensor fault
If the temperature sensor has a defect, the sterilization process is stopped and the stop
symbol (1b) flashes 3 times. Please contact the manufacturer to solve the problem.
