Winding position
In the winding position (position 0), you can also wind
the automatic movement by hand. The movement will start
after only a few revolutions of the crown. However, it is
better to wind the movement fully with about 40 revolutions
of the crown, as maximum accuracy and a power reserve
of about 42 hours will then be assured, even after taking
off the watch.
Setting the large date
If a month has fewer than 31 days, you must set the date
by hand to the first day of the following month. Pull the
crown to position 1. You can now set the date by rotating
the crown to the left (quick setting). Please note that
the date is advanced automatically by the movement in
the period between 19.00 and 1.00. Performing a rapid
adjustment during this period may result in an incorrect
date indication on the following day.
