die LEDs FAULT SIGNAL (8) leuchten.
5.2 Signalquellen mit Line-Pegel
Die symmetrischen Ausgänge der Signalquellen mit
Line-Pegel mit den Eingängen SIGNAL INPUT (12)
verbinden.
Die Klemmen sind wie folgt beschaltet:
+ = Signal +
- = Signal -
G = Masse/Kabelabschirmung
5.3 Verstärker
1) Die symmetrischen Ausgänge AMPLIFIER IN-
PUT (13) der Linienstromüberwachung mit den
Verstärkereingängen verbinden.
Die Klemmen sind wie folgt beschaltet:
+ = Signal +
- = Signal -
G = Masse/Kabelabschirmung
2) Die Eingänge AMPLIFIER OUTPUT (19) mit den
Verstärkerausgängen verbinden.
5.4 Reserveverstärker
1) Die symmetrischen Ausgänge SPARE AMP IN-
PUT (11) der Linienstromüberwachung mit den
Verstärkereingängen verbinden.
Die Klemmen sind wie folgt beschaltet:
+ = Signal +
- = Signal -
G = Masse/Kabelabschirmung
2) Die Eingänge SPARE AMP OUTPUT (17) mit
den Verstärkerausgängen verbinden.

4) In addition, interconnect the terminals SPARE
AMPLIFIER INPUT (11) of the two groups.
5) For monitoring the connected amplifiers and the
speaker lines, unlock the buttons RESET (5). If a
group is not completely used, lock the button RE-
SET (5) of the channels which are not connected.
6) Lock the buttons IN (7) of the two groups, the
LEDs FAULT SIGNAL (8) will light up.
5.2 Signal sources with line level
Connect the balanced outputs of the signal sources
with line level to the inputs SIGNAL INPUT (12).
The configuration of the terminals is as follows:
+ = signal +
- = signal -
G = ground/cable screening
5.3 Amplifiers
1) Connect the balanced outputs AMPLIFIER
INPUT (13) of the line current monitoring unit to
the amplifier inputs.

2) Connect the inputs AMPLIFIER OUTPUT (19) to
the amplifier outputs.
5.4 Spare amplifiers
1) Connect the balanced outputs SPARE AMP
INPUT (11) of the line current monitoring unit to
the amplifier inputs.

5.5 Lautsprecher
Die Lautsprecherlinien an die Schraubklemmen
SPEAKER (18) anschließen. Dabei auf richtige
Polung achten. Der Plusanschluss der Lautspre-
cherkabel ist immer besonders gekennzeichnet.
5.6 Strom- und Notstromversorgung
Für einen Dauerbetrieb mit Netzausfallsicherung an
die Klemmen DC POWER (16) einen 24-V-Akkumu-
lator oder eine 24-V-Notstromversorgung an-
schließen.
Erst nachdem alle anderen Komponenten ver-
bunden sind, die Linienstromüberwachung an eine
Stromversorgung anschließen. Das beiliegende
Netzkabel an die Netzbuchse (14) anschließen und
in eine Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) stecken.
Hinweis: Bei angeschlossener Notstromversorgung
lässt sich das Gerät mit dem Netzschalter POWER
(8) nicht ausschalten. Es wird lediglich zwischen
Netz- und Notstromversorgung umgeschaltet. Das
Gerät geht in Betrieb, sobald es über die Notstrom-
versorgung gespeist wird.
6 Bedienung
1) Im Normalbetrieb sollten die Lautsprecherlinien
auf Kurzschluss überwacht und im Fehlerfall ein
Alarmsignal ausgelöst werden. Daher müssen
die Tasten GROUND FAULT INDICATION OFF
(2) und BUZZER OFF (3) ausgerastet sein.
2) Die Regler SIG LEVEL (6) auf Position 8 (3 Uhr)
stellen. Die Pegelanpassung wird an der Vorstufe
und am Verstärker vorgenommen. Die Pegelein-
stellung an den Verstärkern und den Reservever-
stärkern sollte gleich sein, damit bei einer
Umschaltung sich die Lautstärke nicht ändert.

2) Connect the inputs SPARE AMP OUTPUT (17) to
the amplifier outputs.
5.5 Speakers
Connect the speaker lines to the screw terminals
SPEAKER (18). Observe the correct polarity. The
positive connection of the speaker cables is always
specially marked.
5.6 Power supply and emergency power sup-
ply
For continuous operation with power failure protec-
tion, connect a 24 V rechargeable battery or a 24 V
emergency power supply to the terminals DC
POWER (16).
Connect all other components before connecting
the line current monitoring unit to a power supply.
Connect the supplied mains cable to the mains jack
(14) and then to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
Note: With the emergency power supply connected,
the unit cannot be switched off with the POWER
switch (8), it is only switched from mains supply to
emergency power supply and vice versa. The unit
starts operating as soon as it is fed via the emer-
gency power supply.
6 Operation
1) In normal mode, the speaker lines should be
monitored for short circuit and a buzzer should be
triggered in case of alarm. For this purpose,
unlock the buttons GROUND FAULT INDICA-
TION OFF (2) and BUZZER OFF (3).
2) Set the controls SIG LEVEL (6) to position 8
(3 o'clock). The level is matched on the preampli-
fier and on the amplifier. The level adjustment on
the amplifiers and the spare amplifiers should be
the same so that the volume will not change after
change-over.
