2. In the location or address line of your Web browser, type
192.168.2.1
3. Click the Internet tab.
" Select your Internet connection type: either Cable, DSL router, satel-
lite, ISDN, LAN, or other or DSL modem (also known as PPPoE)
and any information required by your ISP.
4. When you are finished, click Save. You should now be able to access the
Internet.
I am no longer able to access the Internet.
S o l u t i o n 1 :
1. Reboot your DSL or Cable modem. Wait for the modem to completely
reboot.
2. Press the Reset button on the back of your router for 1 second to reboot
your router. Wait for the router to completely reboot.
N o t e : Pressing and holding the Reset button for 7 seconds will restore your
router to the factory default.
3. Reboot your computer. Wait for the computer to completely reboot and try
to access the Internet.
4. If you still cannot access the Internet, see the "Troubleshooting" section of
the User Guide on the USRobotics Installation CD-ROM for extended trou-
bleshooting on this issue.
So lu t i o n 2:
If your ISP assigned you a Static IP address, make sure that you have the correct
IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS Servers from your ISP
entered in the Internet page.
My router's configuration pages are not responding, but I can
still access the Internet.
S o l u t i o n :
Press the Reset button on the router for 1 second to reboot the router. If you
are still unable to communicate with the router configuration pages, press in and
hold the Reset button for 7 seconds. This will reset the router to the factory
default settings. If you made any personal configuration settings, you will need to
make the changes again or restore your settings if you created a backup file.
