Thank you for buying the HAM1000WS! This is a wireless security alarm system that will notice you of the presence of
a movement inside the protected area. Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the
device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.

2. Safety Instructions

• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
• Do not install this system where it will be exposed to direct rain sunshine or rain.
• Never put the device close to your ear as the siren is very loud.
• Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, heating ducts and stoves.
• If the system sounds at random, it is possible that the system has been installed too close to a heat source. In
that case, change the location or direction of the unit.
• This system can provide valuable protection for your home and property if used properly. However, it cannot
guarantee complete protection against burglary or robbery. Therefore, VELLEMAN nv will not be responsible for
any losses or damages which occur during the use of this product.
