a) Magnification and equipment
The total magnification is calculated by multiplying (always by 10) the objective magnification with the size of the objective
lens.

Notice:
The 40x eyepiece is not suitable for working with upper light (reflected light). The eyepiece would have to be positioned too
close to the object. Due to this, there is not enough light left for viewing.
b) Settings
The Betzold Bin-Top 02 microscope provides the following equipment:

- Moving range of the object stage: (vertical) 18 mm
- Range of fine adjustment: 14 mm, the scale reading is 0,002 mm
