The Wireless MAXg USB Adapter could not connect to a wire-
less router or access point using WPS.
1. Make sure you are using the WPS PIN method on your wireless router or
access point.
2. The WPS registration period may have timed out. Try to connect again.
3. Make sure you are using the correct WPS PIN for your wireless adapter.
4. You can only connect one device at a time using WPS. If you are trying to
connect multiple wireless devices, you need to connect one device, then
restart WPS on the wireless router or access point before connecting the next
wireless device.
Security is enabled on my Wireless Router, Access Point, or
network authentication server, and my wireless adapter can-
not connect.
The wireless adapter supports WEP (open and shared, 64 and 128 bit), WPA,
WPA2, 802.1X, and CCKM encryption. Verify that all of the security features
you have entered for the profile of your wireless adapter match the settings for
your wireless router or access point.
For more information about setting up connection profiles and security features,
Windows XP and 2000 users can right-click the USRobotics Wireless Utility icon
and select Help Files.
WPA and WPA2 encryption require Windows Vista, Windows XP with Service
Pack 2 or Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4.
The USRobotics Wireless Utility icon is not displayed in my
system tray.
If you are using Windows XP or 2000, select USRobotics Wireless Utility
from the Windows Start menu. Select Show Utility Icon and click OK. The
utility is not available in Windows Vista.
My computer does not recognise the Wireless MAXg USB
Adapter.
1. Install the wireless adapter in another USB port on your computer.
2. Make sure that the wireless adapter is fully inserted into a powered USB port
on your computer.
