BNI IOL-314-S52-P012 / BNI IOL-314-S52-P071
Network interface – Digital hub

Product description (continued)
4.2
Function
The IO-Link hubs for digital input/outputs feature eight
freely configurable ports. The connection to the higher-level
master module is made via the IO-Link protocol.
Functionally, the hub module is comparable to a passive
distribution box: Recording of digital signals and forwarding
via the IO-Link interface or forwarding of the digital control
signals coming via IO-Link to connected actuators.
The modules feature one extension port (Port 7 can be
configured for this purpose) through which the hub can be
extended with a second hub from the same family, thus
almost doubling the number of available I/O channels.
The BNI IOL-314-S52-P071 variant has four high-power
outputs, each with a capacity of up to four amps:
–
X04.01 = Port4.Pin2
–
X05.01 = Port5.Pin2
–
X06.01 = Port6.Pin2
–
X07.01 = Port7.Pin2
All other ports and pins have one standard output for two
amps.
For configuration information, see document
