6.2 Music control

For a music-controlled light show it is possible to
select three music modes "Sound 1" to "Sound 3".
"Sound 1":
sound-controlled stroboscope with white light
"Sound 2":
sound-controlled flashing with changing colours
"Sound 3":
sound-controlled activation of programs
Note: The music modes "Sound 1" and "Sound 2" are the
same music modes which can be activated for DMX con-
trol (
chapter 10.1).
1) Press the button MENU / ESC repeatedly until
the main menu is reached.
2) Select the option
button UP or DOWN.
3) Press the button ENTER: The last music mode
adjusted (
,
displayed. Select the desired mode from the
three modes with the button UP or DOWN.
4) To change the speed for the programs for the
mode "Sound 3", press the button ENTER: The
present speed is displayed. Select the desired
speed from the 9 speeds
button UP or DOWN.
5) Turn up clockwise the control SENSITIVITY (9)
for the sensitivity of the microphone MIC (8) until
the spotlights respond to the music as desired.
When changing the volume at the music system,
the microphone sensitivity must be adapted
accordingly. If the music control should not func-
tion in an optimum way in spite of the sensitivity
control fully turned up, increase the volume or
reduce the distance between the sound source
and the microphone.

6.3 Colour spotlight mode

For a constant colour beam of the spotlights it is
possible to select nine preset colours and a colour
to be adjusted individually:
1) Press the button MENU / ESC repeatedly until
the main menu is reached.
2) Select the option
button UP or DOWN.
3) Press the button ENTER: The last colour mode

Individual colour adjustment
In the colour mode "ATF" the brightness of the
primary colours red, green and blue can sepa-
rately be adjusted and thus the desired shade of
colour can be mixed:
a) If

The display shows the last primary colour
adjusted and its brightness value:
red ( ), green ( ) or blue ( ).
b) Adjust the brightness of the selected colour
with the button DOWN or UP (indication
0 – 255).
c) Change to the next primary colour with the
button ENTER and adjust its brightness.
Hint: When adjusting the primary colours, not only their
brightness changes but also the shade of colour in case
the colours are mixed. Therefore, first adjust the colour
which is to dominate to the desired brightness and then
add the other two colours. If the intended colour mixture
is white, first adjust the brightness of the green colour
because this appears to be the brightest colour to the
human eye. Then add red to get yellow and finally add
blue to get white.

6.4 Colour change mode

For an automatic change of colour with crossfading
it is possible to select five programs with different
colour sequences:
1) Press the button MENU / ESC repeatedly until
the main menu is reached.
2) Select the option
button UP or DOWN.
3) Press the button ENTER: The last colour
change program adjusted (
activated and displayed. Select the desired pro-
gram with the button UP or DOWN.
4) To change the speed, press the button ENTER:
The present speed is shown. Select the desired
speed from the 9 speeds

6.5 Master / slave mode
Several units PARL-42SET or PARL-47SET (also
mixed) may be operated in sync. Then the first unit
(master unit) controls the remaining units (slave
units). Connect the units with each other in a chain.
For this purpose see chapter 7.1, however, skip
step 1.
