7. Environment

7.1 General

Packaging materials must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

7.2 Fire

At the end of its life span, the fire must be processed in a responsible manner, so that the fire or its parts can be
recycled.
Ø
Do not place the fire with unsorted waste, but submit it at a recognized collection point.
Ø
Contact your municipality for information on available delivery and collection systems.

7.3 Glass pane

Ø
A glass pane for a fire is made of heat-resistant ceramic material. A broken ceramic pane must be disposed of as
residual waste. The glass pane should absolutely not be placed in the glass container, as the ceramic material has a
much higher melting temperature than ordinary glass. When recycled, this will lead to great problems in glass
production.
A fire pane should NOT be placed in the glass container and should be considered as residual waste.

8. Malfunctions

In Table 1 you will find an overview of the malfunctions that might occur, as well as their possible causes and
remedies.
Consult your supplier if the table does not supply you with a solution.

9. Warranty

For your warranty, you must contact your supplier.
The warranty on your Dik Geurts fire is provided via your supplier. In case of complaints, you should always contact
him. Your supplier will involve Dik Geurts Haardkachels, if he thinks this is necessary. The factory warranty expires
two years after the date of purchase. Consumption materials such as glass pane, seal strip, inner lining plates and
the flame baffle plate are not included.
