When you connect Connect Station to a TV set compatible with the HDMI device
control function (HDMI CEC
remote control.
When you use a compatible TV set and want to operate Connect Station using the
TV's remote control, set [On].
* An HDMI-standard function enabling HDMI devices to control each other so that you can
control them with one remote control unit.
When you operate with the TV's remote controller, the functions of the remote

control for Connect Station are assigned as follows:
<B>: Blue button / <M>: Red button / <H>: Yellow button /
<P>: Power button
[Update firmware]
Update the firmware of Connect Station.
[Initialize settings]
Delete the settings on Connect Station and restore the settings it had at the time of
purchase. When you initialize the settings, the network and printer settings will also
be deleted; set them again from the beginning.
Certain TV sets, even those compatible with HDMI CEC, may not operate properly. In that
case, operate the TV set using the Connect Station remote control.

When Connect Station is

connected to the Internet and there
is firmware to be updated, [y] will
be displayed in [Preferences] on
the Home screen.
Under the <e> tab in the

[Preferences] screen shown on
the left, select [Update firmware]
and press <S>.
When you press <M> in the

[Update firmware] screen, the
download and update of the
firmware will start.
When you press <M>, the

settings will be initialized and the
Initial settings screen will appear.
Even if you perform [Initialize

settings], the imported images
and albums will not be deleted.
