Transferring Images
You don't receive the Email from
CANON iMAGE GATEWAY when
newly signing up as a member.
There may be cases that you cannot
receive Emails from CANON iMAGE
GATEWAY when your Email is set not to
accept Emails from certain domains, etc.
Refer to the Help in CANON iMAGE
GATEWAY site (http://www.canon.com/
cig) for the details of Email settings.
Printing
Images cannot be printed.
Make sure the power to the printer, access
point, router, etc. is on.
Make sure there is no error displayed on
the printer.
Make sure the printer is connected to the
same access point or router as Connect
Station.
Copying Images to a Card
Images cannot be copied to a card.
Check if a CF card or SDXC card is
inserted (p.33).
Slide the SDXC card's write-protect switch
to the Write/Erase position.
Check the remaining capacity of the card.

Error Messages

An error related to Connect Station
appears on the TV screen.
Do as instructed in the error message.
If you are unsure how to handle the
problem, write down the error message,
and contact the nearest Canon Service
Center.
Backup and Restoring
Data cannot be backed up.
Use a self-powered external hard disk with
a capacity from 1 to 2 TB.
An external hard disk for backup cannot be
used for copying images.
Using new external hard disk is
recommended for backup.
Images are gone after
I restore data.
When you restore data, images that are
not backed up are deleted.
Blinking of Lamps
All the lamps are blinking.
The firmware is being updated (p.71). The
lamps stop blinking when the update is
complete.
An error message appears
during firmware update.
Under the [Preferences: e] tab, select
[Update firmware] to update the firmware
again (p.71). If error message remains
after updating the firmware again, contact
the nearest Canon Service Center.
