Introduction
Thank you for buying VMX v64. This product is dedicated to software MIDI control. VMX
(Versatile Multimedia eXtension) allows you to use your favorite software in a more intuitive
and efficient way.
Computer setup
VMX is Plug and Play on computers using Windows Vista/7, Mac OS X or Linux. VMX does
not need any particular driver for these operating systems (except for Linux: install a USB driver
if you do not already have one). All you need to do is to plug the USB cable. Please wait a few
seconds for your computer to recognize the new device.
Using the VMX
VMX v64 sends MIDI « control change » or « note » messages, which enable you to freely bind
each controller of VMX to any controllable parameter of the software.
Most VJing software (such as Resolume, Modul8, Electronika or VDMX) and audio software
(Ableton, FL Studio...) support free parameters auto binding: select the parameter you want to
control and move the VMX controller you want to bind to (learn mode). Programming VMX
is not necessary but VMX includes an 8 switch selector at rear. Please refer to your software
manual to get more details about this functionality.

Warning: VMX v64 contains small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
