Never overload the appliance. Too much fuel and too much air for the combustion may cause
overheating and then damage the stove.
The inobservance of this rule makes the warranty expire.

10. NORMAL OPERATION

For safety reasons the door of the appliances with constructive system 1, must be opened only for the
loading of the fuel or for removing the ashes, while during the operation and the rest, the door of the hearth
must remain closed.
The appliances with constructive system 2 must be connected to their own flue. The operating with open
door is allowed under supervision.
IMPORTANT: For safety reasons the door of the hearth can be opened only for the loading of the
fuel. The hearth door must always remain closed during operation or rest.
The nominal power will be reached with a minimum depression in the chimney of 10-12 Pascal (=1.0 - 1.2
mm of water column).
With the controls positioned on the front of the appliance (Picture 1), it is possible to adjust the heat
emission of the hearth.
They have to be opened according to the calorific need.
The best combustion (with minimum emissions) is reached when, by loading the wood, most part of the air
for combustion flows through the secondary air register.
You should always use the appliance with the door closed in order to avoid damages due to overheating
(forge effect).
Never overload the appliance. Too much fuel and too much air for the combustion may cause
overheating and then damage the cooker. The inobservance of this rule makes the warranty expire.
FUEL
WOOD
The lighting control bar (D) must be totally pullet out (control SHUT).
The intensity of combustion and then the calorific value of your cooker is affected by the chimney. A good
draugth of the chimney requires a more reduced adjustment of air for the combustion, while a poor draught
needs more.
IMPORTANT: To verify the good combustion of the cooker, check if the smoke coming out from the
chimney is transparent. If it is white, it means that the cooker is not correctly adjusted or the wood is
too wet; if on the contrary the smoke is grey or black, it means that the combustion is not complete (it
is necessary a greater quantity of secondary air).

11. USE OF THE OVEN

After shaking the grate, load some fuel. Thanks to the air
flow for the combustion, the temperature of the oven may
become remarkably affected. A good flue of the chimney
and channels well cleaned for the flow of burning smokes
around the oven are fundamental for a good cooking
result. The register of smokes must be pulled totally to the
outside.
The oven pan may be located on different plans. Thick
cakes and big roasts must be introduced in the lowest
level. Flat cakes and biscuits must reach the medium
level. The upper level may be used to heat or grill.
