8.11 Backlight

Whenever the device is used, the environment control and regu-
lation lights up for a certain time period. This time can be set OFF
or the Backlight can be turned OFF from this menu.
When the OFF mode is confirmed, the operation of the
infra-red proximity detection is stopped. However, the
backlight can still be turned ON by pressing a sensitive
button for a limited settable time period. The selected time
period of backlighting starts the operation of the infra-red
proximity detection device. The lighting time period is the
same in the case of infrared detection and when pressing
the sensitive button.
