Instrument settings are entered via the setup parameters. They can be displayed and
modified by using relative menu.
This is the most convenient and immediate method of accessing the protection and
control module settings compared to direct access from the front keyboard because all
setup parameters listed in the table on page 16 are shown. Another item of data
appearing in this window is the connection mode (three phase / single phase); otherwise
the latter can be viewed directly on the instrument by pressing the RESET/PHASE and
SCROLL keys both at the same time when switching on the MCP4 module.
After starting the program, press the Read button to display the setup parameters
currently set in the MCP4 module.
The complete set of setup data can be memorized in the PC, so that it can be very easily
and quickly reloaded with the same settings in another instrument. This function is useful
when having to program a series of modules with the same settings, or else when it is
wished to retain an archive of original settings of a machine. To save the parameters on
disk, press the New and enter the required name to be attributed to the setup being
memorized.
To carry out the reverse operation, i.e. transfer a file from the PC to MCP4, select the
previously saved setup in the Description sub-window, then press Enter.
2.6 "SETTINGS" WINDOW

find the port used.
Activation/disactivation of the PC/MCP4 connection
Style and colour of the software screens
Language (Italian/English)
Press the Info... button to show the software version.
