Cleaning the mesh filter

To clean the mesh filters:
1.
Remove a mesh filter.
2.
To clean the filter, do one of the following:
Cleaning manually (max. 30 °C):
a.
Soak the filter for about 3 minutes in water with a mild non-corrosive
grease-removing detergent. NOTICE It is advisable not to use rinse
aids. Wash the filter separately from crockery and kitchen utensils.
Brush the filter gently with a soft brush. NOTICE Do not apply too
much pressure to avoid damaging the filter. The filter might fade grey.
This is normal and is not included in the warranty.
Cleaning in the dishwasher (max. 30 °C):
a.
Place the filter in the dishwasher and run a program with a mild non-
corrosive grease-removing detergent. NOTICE It is advisable not to
use rinse aids. Wash the filter separately from crockery and kitchen
utensils. The filter might fade grey. This is normal and is not included
in the warranty.
3.
Leave the filter to dry naturally out of direct sunlight.
4.
Put the filter back in its correct position.

Replacing the active carbon filter

An active carbon filter is used to remove odours when the connection of the cooker
hood to an exhaust pipe is not possible. NOTICE Carbon filters should not be
washed or cleaned. Replace the carbon filter every 3 to 6 months.
