IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

This appliance must be positioned and installed according to the instructions described in the
installation portion of this manual. To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury when
using your appliance, follows these basic precautions.
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. To reduce the risk of fire, replace only with same type fuse. Do not use extension cords.
3. Do not place or store anything on top of the unit.
4. It is recommended to use a separate circuit serving for your appliance.
5. Never clean the unit with an acid preparation, medical solution, dilution, gasoline, oil or
any other kind of chemical substance that could damage the unit.
6. Do not store or use inflammable substances near the appliance.
7. Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning, or repairing.
8. Repair should only be made by authorized service centers only.
9. If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
10. In order to function at its highest potential, this wine cooler needs to be placed on flat floor
and the front of the unit completely unobstructed. Choose a well vented area with
temperatures above 13 º C (55 ºF) and below 32º C (95º F).
11. Do not use outdoors.
12. The appliances should not be located close to a heating source, avoid direct sunshine and
high temperature.
13. If you do not plan on using the appliance for an extended period of time, unplug it and
leave the door open. Wipe off any condensation that may appear.
14. It is important that the appliance be leveled to work properly.
15. Children should not be allowed to operate, play with, or crawl inside the unit.
16. Danger: Risk of child entrapment.
17. Before throwing away your unit, you must: a) Take off the door; b) Leave the shelves in
place, so that children may not easily climb inside.
18. This refrigerator should only be used as specified. The manufacturer will not be held
responsible for any damage due to improper use or repairs made by unqualified
personnel.
