Step 6:
Installation of the right footrest (18R) on the right footrest holder
(14R) and the left footrest (18L) on the left footrest holder (14R) with
the carriage bolts (17), the washers (24), spring washer (22) and the
handgrip nuts (23).
1. Push the right footrest (18R) onto the footrest holder (14R). Adjust the
holes in the parts so that they are aligned.
2. Push the screws (17) from above through the holes. Push on a washer
(24) and spring washer (22) from the opposite side, screw on a handgrip
nut (23) and tighten fi rmly.
3. Install the left footrest (18L) on the footrest holder (14L) as described in
1. – 2. (Note: The right and left footrests can be discerned by the edges of
the longitudinal sides of the footrests. The high edges of the footrests (18R)
and (18L) must point inwards (towards the main frame.))
4. Mount plastic cover set (78) to both side bottom end of connecting tube
(11) and secure with screw (68) for each side.
5. Mount plastic cover set (79) to both side front end pedal bar (14) and
secure with 2 screws (39) for each side.
Step 7:
Attach the computer (1) and hand grip bar (4) at support (64).
1. Take the computer (1) that has been supplied out of the packaging and
insert the batteries (Type "AA"-1.5 V pencells) by watching for the right
polarity on the back of the computer (1).
2. Put the plug of connection cable (59) into the socket from monitor (1)
backside.
3. Insert the plug of hand pulse wire (2) to the jack of the monitor (1)
backside.
4. Attach the monitor (1) to top monitor bracket of front post (64) with
screws (39).
(Attention: Ensure that the cable loom are not crunched or pinched during
installation.)
5. Place the hand grip bar (4) against the support (64) so that the holes are
aligned. Push a washer (69) onto each screw (19) and push them through
the holes and tighten the handgrip bar (4) fi rmly.
Step 8:
Checks
1. Check the correct installation and function of all screwed and plug
connections. Installation is thereby complete.
2. When everything is in order, familiarise yourself with the machine at a
low resistance setting and make your individual adjustments.
Note:
Please keep the tool set and the instructions in a safe place as these may
be required for repairs or spare parts orders becoming necessary later.
