Remove the iso-strip

The battery is already inserted at delivery and furnished
with an iso-strip to protect it from discharging prema-
turely. In order to activate the scales, you must remove
the isostrip. The battery compartment is located on the
underside of the device.
1. Push the battery compartment cover down slightly
in the grooved region.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover outwards and
off.
3. Pull the iso-strip out.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Inserting/changing battery

To use the scales, a type CR2032, 3V battery is required.
1. Slide the battery compartment cover off in the di-
rection of the imprinted arrow.
2. Push the battery against the contact spring under
the large, square retaining tab.
