Erasing Start IDs

You can erase the Start IDs without erasing the
contents of the existing recording.
Erasing the Start ID is possible only when the tape-
corder is in the stop or playback mode.

Press the ) + or = 0 button to locate the
Start ID you want to erase.

Press the START ID•MODE button repeatedly
until "ERASE" appears in the display of the main
unit.

Press the START ID•ENTER button.
The tape will automatically rewind to find the
Start ID of that program (track) and then
" " will flash in the display and start to
erase the Start ID. During this step the sound will
be muted. Playback will start when this mode is
done.
