Base station (2)
a) Wattmeter
A built-in wattmeter, associated with an LED indicator
allows the operator to check accurately the curing
light's performance. The aperture is located on the front
part of the base station. An adjustable ring allows you
to adapt the wattmeter's input aperture to the Ø5.5mm
light guide.
b) To proceed
- Set the device in Fast Curing mode.
- Insert the light guide into the handpiece after
checking no VLC material remains on the light guide.
- Place the end of the light guide in the aperture and
activate the M L.E.D..

d) Charge
When the handpiece is inserted in the base station,
another LED displays the charge status for the battery:

There are two receptacles in the front of the base
station, used to hold light guides when they are not
inserted in the handpiece.
5 - MODES USED
The M L.E.D. has three different modes. To select the

mode you want to use, press the navigation button. The
green LED indicator next to each symbol shows the
mode selected.
"F C " mode: when the handpiece is removed

curing program. This menu activates maximum light
power (depending on the light guide) for 10 seconds.
"P " mode: Selected by means of the
ULSE CURING
navigation key. This menu gives full power in a pulsed
mode, which consists of an emission of 10 successive
one second flashes with a rest period of 250ms between
the flashes.
"S " mode: Selected by means of the
TEPPED CURING
navigation key. "Stepped curing" (curing similar to the
step menu in a halogen device), gives you:
- a soft start of 10 seconds
- full power for 10 seconds.
6 - EVERYDAY USE
1) The M L.E.D. is normally positioned on the base

station. The first time you screw it onto the battery
it will be activated in the fast curing mode. For
further details, please refer to chapter 5.
2) Your M L.E.D. is ready to use once the menu has

been selected.
3) Place the light guide as close as possible to the
surface of the VLC material without touching it, as
this could greatly damage the light guide and
decrease its efficiency (staining)
4) Press the On/Off button briefly to start the curing
cycle). The setting will be confirmed by an audible
signal (beep).
5) At the end of the cycle, you will hear another beep.
However, the cycle can be interrupted at any time
simply by pressing the On/Off button.
6) If the device is not used, after three minutes it goes
into Standby mode and all the indicator lights go out.
Press any button to reactivate the device.
7 - CARE
Warning: For everyday maintenance of the M
make sure that the unit is not on its rest. Disconnect the
rest from the M L.E.D. before using a disinfectant.
