Acquisition of Radiographic Images

Turn on the PC that has the GXS-700 installed and launch the imaging software, such as
VixWin Platinum (please refer to the software manual for information on the software
program).
1. Set the required technical settings (exposure time, etc.) on the X-ray generator (refer
to "X-ray Dose / Exposure Time Settings" on page 6-7.
2. Apply a new disposable sheath to the image sensor, making sure that it covers the
portion of the cable which may come into contact with the patient.
CAUTION
When twisting the disposable covers around the sensor wire, be sure not to
twist the wire.
3. Position the sensor appropriately in the part of the mouth to be X-rayed (refer to
specific instructions for use).

Use
The sensor must be positioned with the sensitive area facing the source
of the radiation. The sensitive side of the sensor is marked with the
Gendex logo.
