CHECKING THE PRECISION AND THE PLUMB
(POINT MODE) (ONLY CPL206)
•
Position the laser around 1 m from the ground
(e.g. upon a tripod) and start up the laser by
pressing the ON button 4 times (point mode).
•
Position the laser so that the downwards beam
points at a reference point on the ground (A fig 5)
•
Mark point B1 on the ceiling.
•
Turn the laser 180° and realign the downwards
beam with point A.
•
Mark the new position of point B2 on the ceiling.
If the difference between points B1 and B2 is less
than 3mm, the laser is properly calibrated.
If the laser settings are incorrect, this
should be reported to your distributor
who will send your laser to an approved
centre to be checked.
CHECKING THE 90° SQUARE BEAM
(ONLY CPL206)
•
Find a room which is around 5 m wide and place
the laser, on a tripod, in the centre of the room.
•
Switch on the laser by pressing the ON button 4
times (point mode) and mark points A, B, C and D,
which correspond respectively to the rear beam,
left side beam, right side beam and downwards
beam of the laser.
•
Turn the laser 90° clockwise, keeping the down-
wards beam on point D, and aligning the point
generated by the rear beam with point C. Mark
the new point B upon the wall to the left of the
laser.
•
Measure the distance between points A and
B. If it is less than 3mm, your laser is properly
calibrated.
