21.Do not handle bulbs with bare hands. The bulb can be damaged by contact with bare hands; in this case the covering
warranty is no longer valid. If either the bulb is inadvertently touched, remove finger marks with a soft cloth and
methylated spirits or alcohol. Finger marks will burn into quartz causing quick lamp failure.All installations must be in
accordance with current safety regulations. Ensure that the installation is done by a qualified electrician.
22.In the event of malfunction and/or breakdown turn the appliance off and immediately contact the manufacturer or
an Authorized Technical Assistance Centre.
23.Original Star Progetti spare parts must be used in any repairs. In the event of damage to the lead or its plug
immediately replace it, this should be carried out at the premises of the manufacturer or an authorized Technical
Assistance Centre.
24.Switch the main plant supply off when:
a) there is a malfunction;
b) you decide to clean the outside;
c) you decide not to use the appliance for a long period of time.
25.Do not cover or obstruct the front grille when in use.
26.On installation provide a suitable size omnipolar circuit-breaker with 3mm or more distance between the contacts.
27.Do not cover or obstruct the appliance whilst it is on.
28.Keep the front grille clean.
29.To prevent the risk of fire, do not install the appliance and its heating elements near to or directed towards curtains,
beds or other objects or easily inflammable materials; there must be an adequate minimum distance ensured to avoid
the risk of damage or fire.
30.Do not use the appliance in conjunction with programmers, timers or other tools capable of turning it on
automatically without the presence of an operator .

1.Before using the heater:
a) Check that the voltage indicated in the type plate corresponds to the mains voltage in your premises.
b) Ensure that the heater is securely fixed to the mounting bracket on the wall.
2.Helios HP must be earthed.
3.Check that the power supply is suitable for the load to be installed.
4.The appliance must always be installed in an upright position.
5.Only touch the end caps. Should you accidently touch the surface of the bulb, clean it immediately with a soft cloth
moistened with methylated alcohol.
6.The bulb can be damaged by contact with bare hands
7.Do not cover or obstruct the appliance whilst it is on.
8.Replacement of the supply cable must only be carried out by the manufacturer or the help service or a specialised
technician.
9.Warning, if Helios HP is installed near curtains or parasols, make sure that it cannot inadvertently come into contact
with them.
10. Heat resisting FG7 cable must be used. Use a 1.5 mm2 cable up to 16A and a 2.5 mm2 cable from 16A to 25 A.This
appliance must be earthed.
11. Fix the unit on the mounting bracket and tighten the angle adjustment. Always isolate the unit from the mains
supply when adjusting the angular position. The heater must be installed with the bulb in perfect horizontal position
only.
12. Generally heaters must be placed at a safe distance (clear space) of minimum 2.0 m.
from combustible materials (cardboard, fabric etc.), as well as glass walls. If heaters are placed in workshops and
garages where there are flammable paints or liquids, they must be placed at a minimum distance of 4 m. from the
source of danger. Never use the heaters in particularly dusty and closed areas. This could damage the bulb.
