2 Technical information
The following explanations are to help you with the interpretation of the technical specifications.
Follow closely the instructions contained in this manual, in order to make full use of the safety
precautions and also to guarantee the safe and correct operation of the pump. Read through the
instructions carefully and keep these in a secure and easily accessible place for future
maintenance, settings or repairs.
Volume flow
Air delivery rate depending on the pressure.
Optimum range of application
Covers the pressure range in which the diaphragm pump can be employed in continuous
operation. If the pump operates in the area of the maximum pressure, a special monitoring is
required. Please contact our Technical Service, if you are planning a special application.
Input power
Corresponds to the electrical power, which is drawn with the given operating pressure. The
maximum input power ensues with free flow. We would be happy to provide you with an electricity
consumption curve.
Type of operation
Our pumps are developed and produced for continuous operation with the maintaining of the
operating conditions.
Electricity supply
All data relates to an electricity supply of 230 V / 50 Hz, with a tolerance of +/- 10%. All models,
with deviating performance data, can also be operated with a frequency of 60 Hz. Models for other
voltages can be obtained on request.
Overload protection
The listed ATB series has an integrated thermal overload protection.
If the winding reaches the limiting value of 130º C, the compressor switches off operation
automatically until the winding has cooled to below 120º C.
Protection type
ATB compressor series: IP44
Ambient temperature
The maximum permitted ambient and suction temperature lies between -10º C and +40º C.
Insulation class
All pumps have the insulation class E, which corresponds to a limiting temperature of 120º C.
